Missio Communities:
Begin the Week of Oct. 2nd.
We will begin to invite leaders who will help us form 3 Missio Communities (maybe 4)
If you would like to lead a Missio Community please let Jared know by the second week of September.
Worship/Kids/Hospitality Teams:
We have 3 teams we will be forming during September to help plug everyone into serving on Sundays as well to help spread the work of making Sundays happen to all of us. These teams are:
Worship: We will have a rotation of people helping lead music and songs. If you want to be a part of that please let Jared know.
Kids: We have a growing kids demographic at Missio which is awesome. Laura has put together a great plan for how kids will be taught and how to volunteer to help teach classes. Reach out to Laura to know more about that.
Hospitality: Each Sunday we need help with a few set up items like Communion Bread or Coffee. Also this team will help greet people at the door and help be responsible to tear things down at the end of worship.
Serving Opportunities:
Music Center: More outside yard work needs to be done. If you would like to volunteer some time to help with that let Jared know.
Northgate Elementary:
Water bottles for kids

Sojourn Campus Ministry:
Dawg Days are coming up near the end of September.
Chandler and Breanna are a new intern couple that will be working with Sojourn. We want to welcome them to Seattle and be intentional to provide community and care as they move here.
Kambakia Training Center in Kenya:
We are continuing to provide support, both financially and spiritually, to the Kambakia Theological Training Center in Kenya.
This fall we will be more intentionally sharing their work and providing ways to pray and encourage them as we partner with them.

Luke 3:21-22
21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Communion:
Communion should be done with 2-3 people
First, share what is the most important thing about relationships to you.
Someone else ask, “how do you find that in Jesus?”
Pray together then head up to take communion
Benediction:
Now that we've encountered Jesus anew:
May we go and sin no more,
May our spiritual eyes be opened,
May we be healed and work for the healing of others,
May we bring good news to the poor and hurting,
And may we go forth in the peace of God's presence.
