Call To Worship
John 2:1-12
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ motherwas there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
4 “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
They did so, 9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
11 What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.
Prayer 1:
This morning we will have several moments of prayer focused on different aspects of life and living with Jesus. They will be spread out through the morning.
Before we send the kids off to Kid’s Class, spend time with your family praying.
Family can be defined as your spouse and children. But often family is defined as the people closest to you.
Pray for 3 specific things:
That God will strengthen your love for each other. Whatever your family and relationships are navigating right now, invite Jesus into those with you to build and strengthen your love for each other.
Pray that God will continue to form Missio into a family who loves, cares, and provides for each other.
Pray that as a family we would all continue to grow in the image of Jesus.

Feel free to get in groups or families or take communion on your own.
Discussion Questions & Prayer:
When have you experienced goodness and didn’t know where it came from? How did you feel? What did you do?
Have you ever risen up to provide, help, or bless someone with no expectation of them knowing it was you? This isn’t a time to “reveal” that. But rather, what did you experience in that moment?
Pray for opportunities to bless someone this week, even if they never know it was you.
Benediction:
Now that we've encountered Jesus anew:
May we go and sin no more,
May our spiritual eyes be opened,
May we be healed and work for the healing of others,
May we bring good news to the poor and hurting,
And may we go forth in the peace of God's presence.
To him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
