Call To Worship

Matthew 6:5-13.

It says, “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

Teach us to give, teach us to give
Give ourselves for one another
Learn to love each other
Teach us to give

[Verse 3]
Teach us to weep, teach us to weep
Let us weep with one another
Learn to love each other
Teach us to weep

[Verse 4]
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Let us learn from one another
Learn to love each other
Teach us Your ways

“All The Poor & Powerless”

All the poor and powerless
And all the lost and lonely
And all the thieves will come confess
And know that You are holy
And know that You are holy

And all will sing out
Hallelujah
And we will cry out
Hallelujah

And all the hearts who are content
And all who feel unworthy
And all who hurt with nothing left
Will know that You are holy

And all will sing out
Hallelujah
And we will cry out
Hallelujah
And all will sing out
Hallelujah
And we will cry out
Hallelujah

Shout it
Go on and scream it from the mountains
Go on and tell it to the masses
That He is God

Shout it
Go on and scream it from the mountains
Go on and tell it to the masses
That He is God

And we will sing out
Hallelujah
And we will cry out
Hallelujah
We will sing out
Hallelujah, shout it

Shout it
Go on and scream it from the mountains
Go on and tell it to the masses
That He is God

Shout it
Go on and scream it from the mountains
Go on and tell it to the masses
That He is God

“Son of David”

The blind won't gain their sight,
By opening their eyes...
A king is coming to this city and crowds around, are following,
If I could see, I would follow too

He heals the sick with His hands, as He walks by, they reach for Him;
If I could see, I would reach out too

The blind won't gain their sight by opening their eyes

Son of David have mercy on me!
Son of David have mercy!

Son of David I want to see!

Son of David Have Mercy.

I can not leave this gate since I can not see my way, but I can stand and call His name

No I could never leave this gate but I will stand and shout His name, and I will count on His grace!
Son of David have mercy on me!

Son of David have mercy!

Son of David I want to see.

Son of David have mercy.

I was blind - now I see! Jesus saved me!

Communion:

Teaching: “The Way of Jesus: Prayer”

5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

“This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

Benediction:

May you follow in the footsteps of Jesus,

May you be the hands of him who touched the sick,

The feet of him who walked among the lowly,

The arms of him who embraced the despised,

And the mouth of him who proclaimed liberty for all.

The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;

the Lord lift up his face upon you and give you peace.

—Numbers 6:24–26
