“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
serve your community
We believe the movement of Jesus is alive and well, and our role in that mission is to be committed to the method Jesus spoke about in Acts 1:8. By building relationships and serving our community, we seek to create spaces where people in Seattle can have a life-altering encounter with Christ. Here are just a few places Missio Church, and Missio Church members are a part of this mission.

The Giving Room
Every Monday from 10-1pm.
The Giving Room is a food bank at Epic Life Church. The Giving Room exists to be God’s extended arms to embrace, build up and provide for our neighborhood in their physical, relational and spiritual needs. We seek to be prayerfully present with those on the margins, with an openness both to be personally transformed by these relationships and to be used by God to bring our neighbors closer to His heart, one step at a time. We offer food, friendship, prayer, a door into safe community.

Northgate elementary & friends of northgate
In addition to partnering with the school on special project throughout the school year, Missio is a leading partner in Friends of Northgate - an arm of the community that wants to see public schools thrive. We love all public schools, but we also understand that we live in a distinct location with specific needs. Therefore, we are particularly focused on supporting the needs of Northgate Elementary School. It is our hope and goal that Northgate Elementary would not only have the funding that it needs, but that it would also have the community support. We know that through community support and partnership, we will be able to offer the best future for the whole city. Friends of Northgate meets at 9:30am every other Tuesday at the Northgate Elementary Library. All are welcome.

serve your church
Many volunteers serve Missio every month. Some show up early to set up chairs and prepare the space for the day. Some help with running slides or setting up tech equipment. Whatever the task, our volunteers are shaping our church and creating a welcoming, engaging environment for people to meet Jesus. We have been so blessed by the outpouring of so many each month.
We only get by with the help of our community. Please consider serving and filling out the form below:
